Wednesday 19th February 2025 started as a beautiful morning at St. Elizabeth Girls School Mityana (STEGS) we received a team of guests from Centenary Bank Mityana led by the branch manager Rtn. Joseph Kateete. They came with a generous donation of 10 computer sets.
We are humbled by this kind gesture from Centenary Bank that has added great value to our ICT Laboratory and has fallen in line with our goal of Leveraging technology in the teaching and learning processes. It indeed brought joy and excitement among the students and entire Stegs community.At Stegs we believe that ICT provide students with the best tools to thrive in a digital world.
Our ICT culture
It’s in our school culture to enable students engage in hands-on learning across various ICT programs, As ICT department we give thanks to the administration of stegs and most importantly to the director whose relentless effort has been pivotal in integrating ICT in almost all operations and management of school but most importantly in teaching and learning especially with the new curriculum on board
Our students have been involved in a number of activities at national level and do attend a number of international ICT programmes online through Uganda Institute of ICT (UICT-Nakawa), The computer sets surely will be of great tool to position our stegs community in the digital world. With the donations students will now have more access to engage in more exciting learning opportunities
