My Passion for Girls
St. Elizabeth Girls School (STEGS) targets girls who are academically brilliant but may fail to realize their dreams because of limited funds at the household. St. Elizabeth bridges the gap by providing the elite league kind of quality education but at a lower level of fees!
STEGS creates a safe space for girls, where they can be mentored and supported to be the best they can be. The school also offers full scholarships to needy but brilliant girls from
around the country – already many students from Eastern Uganda, Central and Western Uganda are continuing their studies at STEGS.
Due to the impact of the war in Northern Uganda, STEGS ring- fenced 20 bursaries for students from Northern Uganda. This we have done since the inception of the school in 2010. Currently we have over 100 girls on full bursaries. We’re continuously building the capacity of the school to provide even a more superior quality of education and also to sustainably take on more girls especially those who wouldn’t afford because of their family situation.
