Being recognized in this competition is a tremendous honour from the WordPress community Uganda https://www.wcuganda.org/ , and we are incredibly grateful to the organizers and judges for considering us among so many outstanding entries. The STEGS SMART STUDY PROJECT is an LMS that offers means to bridge the gap of students having inadequate access to educational resources through availing academic resources like eBooks, downloadable material from the e-library, educational videos, enabling students access assignments and quizzes, providing links to websites that offer free online courses and most importantly this is all works of the ICT club and powered by WordPress that has the largest global market share as of 2024.
The theme of the year’s competition is problem solving with wordpress.
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the director St. Elizabeth Girls school Mityana Hon. Sylvia Namabidde Ssinabulya and the entire STEGS community for supporting the girls to exhibit their innovations beyond school premises. And to you the WordPress community Uganda, your recognition inspires us to continue striving for excellence and pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve.
What’s Next? The competition is still ongoing till its climax on 5th July 2024 where different schools and universities shall be pitching their projects, and we are eagerly looking forward to the next stages.
